Philanthropy

Philanthropy is an integral part of Alpha Gamma Delta. The women of Epsilon Omega raise money to support the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation , the official philanthropy of Alpha Gamma Delta. Epsilon Omega raises money for this charity organization through our annual co-sponsored fraternity softball tournament, Frats at Bat, and our annual fraternity soccer tournament, Just Kick It. Not only are these events a great way to support a good cause, they are also experiences that enrich the sisterhood of Alpha Gamma Delta. Because of our efforts this year, we were recognized as a Jewel Chapter, an honor that is given only to chapters that hav raised over $2,000 for the Alpha Gamma Delta foundation.

The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation is a charitable trust run by appointed memebrs of the Fraternity. From these funds, numerous undergrduate graduate student scholarships are offered. Juvenile Diabetes research and summer camps are funded from this trust. Furthermore, special programs such as Leadership training and Sister Income Supplement (SIS) are also supported.
